Training Without Context Doesn't Stick

Leaders don't fail because they lack information. They fail because learning isn't connected to how they actually operate day-to-day.

Training Without Context Doesn't Stick

You sent a leader to training on feedback skills. They learned frameworks, practiced in simulations, left excited. Back at work, they revert to old patterns.

The training had no context. It wasn't connected to the actual problems they face or the systems that will reinforce the behavior.

Context Matters

Learning sticks when it's applied immediately to real work. When it's practiced within the system you actually operate in. When it's reinforced by how work gets evaluated and rewarded.

The System Approach

Don't send people to training. Build learning into the system. Create feedback loops that reinforce good practices. Make development part of how work actually happens. Context drives behavior. Without context, training is just information.
